CNC machining is a process of cutting unwanted material from a solid block of raw material or from a pre-existing part. CNC offers much higher accuracy than the rapid prototyping process. It can produce large or complex metal and plastic parts in your material of choice. CNC is excellent for functional metal and plastic parts, prototypes, models, patterns and tooling. Parts made with CNC offer very tight tolerances, sharp details and good surface finishing. Models can be produced inexpensively and can be CNC machined as a finishing step to improve detail, accuracy and finish.
