Eight jet heads deposit a photopolymer resin onto the build tray with each pass along an X-AXIS. UV bulbs alongside the heads immediately cure and harden each layer. The result a perfectly smooth surface of super thin layers to just 16 microns (0.0006”). Unlike, the PolyJet technology fully cures each layer of super fine UV photopolymer resin and support materials as they are precisely deposited. The parts emerge fully cured and only need the support material washed off. The support material leaves no marks on the parts. There are several resins available in clear or opaque (black, blue and white) rigid resins or black and grey flexible resins.
